MECHA
As part of YouTube’s Countdown series, Mecha is a love letter by Maciej Kuciara and Ash Thorp to the Japanese mecha animation genre of the 80’s and 90’s of which both were heavily influenced by during their youth. Maciej and Ash worked incredibly hard in their off-hours to compose this beautiful piece and I am very grateful that I was considered to help with the small addition of 2D animations for the various User Interfaces scattered throughout the sequence.
